An interesting report last year was on (BBC's technology program) addressed a security flaw in Facebook that could compromise users' personal information through the use of applications.
At that time BBC's report simply accused Facebook security team for not doing enough security precautions against some malicious third party applications, where the latter pretend to look like a funny quiz or birthday greeting app but they're silently collecting users data to do other acts.
But now a hacker seems done something further and found a way to the social network database!
If true then it means yes,
Your Facebook account can be stolen and HACKED in 2 minutes!

Doing a simple search you will find some wordpress blogs already fixed their folder but many others with interesting plugins still did not fix it or even still don't know about it.
